WALKER EXHAUST LAMBDA OXYGEN SENSOR 800-95010
WALKER EXHAUST LAMBDA OXYGEN SENSOR 800-95010
Since 1980 cars have been fitted with oxygen sensors (AKA Lambda Sensors). The sensor is part of the emissions control system and feeds data to the engine management computer (ECU). The goal of the oxygen sensor, is to help the engine run as efficiently as possible and also to produce as few emissions as possible. As the automotive industry continues to improve its emission standards in line with EU regulations, engineering advances have ensured that oxygen sensors become more advanced – featuring pioneering sensor technologies.
It is generally recommended by Bosch (the original inventors),that oxygen sensors are replaced typically every 60,000 to 80,000 miles.
